At Helping Hands Uganda–Canada Aid (HHU), we are dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children in Eastern Uganda. As the season of giving approaches, we invite you to join us in making a great difference to these children through any of these three vital initiatives:
- Kids Treat Holiday Celebration
On December 21, 2024, we will host our annual Kids Treat Holiday Celebration—a joyful event where children and their families come together to celebrate the season. This special day includes food, entertainment, and gifts, creating cherished memories for everyone involved. With a budget of approximately $950, we rely on the kindness of supporters like you to make this event possible. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, this celebration has become a highlight of the year for many children and their families.
- Beekeeping Project
We are thrilled to propose a beekeeping project designed to create a sustainable income stream for HHU. This initiative will not only generate funds to support our programs but also empower caregivers and strengthen the local community. A detailed project proposal is attached for your review. We are eager to launch this project as soon as sufficient funds are raised. A contribution in any amount towards this project would be greatly appreciated and would make a difference.
- Sustaining Our 2025 Programs
Looking ahead, we aim to sustain our critical programs for those children without personal sponsors. These include:
- Education: Providing school fees and supplies to ensure access to education.
- Healthcare: Covering medical expenses to promote health and well-being.
- Basic Support: Occasionally supplying essential daily necessities.
Your generosity can brighten this holiday season and empower children with the resources they need to thrive in the coming year 2025. Whether through a one-time gift or by sponsoring a child for $50 per month, every contribution creates ripples of hope and change, transforming lives and communities.
